My husband and I stayed at this hotel in October 2012. The hotel is ideally located on the beach. Direct access is possible to the beach itself. At the rear of the hotel is the town of armaceo de pera. Many shops, bars and restaurants.

On arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room,
the rooms are of an ample size with TV and a fridge, ample wardrobe space and drawers, also a safe inside the wardrobes. Bathroom was small but adequate, bath with an overbath shower, also hairdryer fixed to wall in bathroom.

Small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Our balcony was fairly sheltered with the high walls either side but would recommend the sea view rooms.

The hotel has a nice bar with views out to the beach, also the reatuarant pleasant with vies out to the sea. We stayed here bed and breakfast and the breakfasts were good, ample to to choose from, both hot and cold. There was alot of people here older than ourselves, Saga holiday makers.

Overall a great hotel, ideally located, friendly and helpful staff.

WHAT sort of writer are you? What sort of writer do you dream of becoming? Have you found your writing voice? If you have not written before, do you want to find out what that voice might be?

This exciting workshop in the heart of the Algarve will help you develop your creative skills and explore your unique powers of expression. The course incorporates exercises that enable you to free your imagination and develop the voice that is uniquely your own. This weekend course will include:

• four 2.5 hour work...shops
• techniques to start writing or develop work-in-progress
• a chance to initiate pieces that lead to more extended works of prose or poetry
• the opportunity to have writing done in the workshop read and discussed
• Open Mic evening session for those who wish to share work already written (voluntary)

LEVEL
The workshop is open to anyone with a desire to write, from beginners to experienced writers. Sessions will be conducted in a friendly, constructive atmosphere.

LOCATION Workshop Venue - Holiday Inn Algarve, Armação de Pêra, Holiday Inn Algarve is situated in southern Portugal in a prime beachfront location with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

XV TORNEIO INTERNACIONAL FUTEBOL JUVENIL - Football Tournament - Armação de Pêra

The 15th Edition of the International Youth Football Tournament of Armação de Pêra, is taking place this weekend took place on the 9th and 10th March 2013, at Gaivota Football Ground in Armação de Pêra.

Once again we are proud to be a sponsor of the event, supporting sports practice by the children and promoting the local sports club Os Armacenenses who organises this tournament every year.
The tournament will begin with an inaugural parade starting a 9.30am in front of the Holiday Inn Algarve, and the 10 participating teams will parade down the seafront promenade to the football ground, where the opening ceremony of the tournament .
